Frequently asked questions
The ones people ask most, by what you'd like to do.
private chef
cooking for you around malagaCan I get someone to cook for me just once a week?
Yes. One cook session a week is a common arrangement and costs less than two. You get fewer days of food, which suits smaller households or people who eat out often.
Is a personal chef worth it?
Do the sum before you decide. Add up what your household spends now on restaurants, delivery and the food thrown away at the end of the week, then compare it with a weekly rate. For some households the gap is large and the answer is no. For others it is smaller than it looks.
Did you go to culinary school?
In the kitchen, I'm self-taught. I've been developing recipes and experimenting since 2016, and I've come to specialize in swapping ingredients for allergies and dietary restrictions, so no one has to miss out. That passion grew into over five years of creating food content and a cookbook built around dietary needs. I'm always learning on the job, and honestly, that's how I learn best.
Is there a minimum for weekly meal prep?
Yes. Weekly meal prep has a two-month minimum.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit holds the date for private dinners and villa stays, with the balance due before the booking, and it's refundable up to 14 days before. Weekly meal prep is paid a week ahead. For villa stays I also ask for a grocery float upfront, to cover the shop.
How much is a private chef in Marbella?
For a one-off dinner, most chefs around Malaga charge between €47 and €95 a person, depending on the size of the group. My dinners run from €75 to €95 a person, with the menu, shopping, cooking in your home, service and the clean-up included. My weekly service is from €600 a week plus groceries, for six days of meals for your household.
What is the difference between a private chef and a personal chef?
A private chef usually works for one household full time, often living in. A personal chef, which is what I am, cooks for several households and comes in on a schedule to prepare meals in advance, at a fraction of the cost of a full-time chef.
Do you clean up after cooking?
Yes, always. Your kitchen is left cleaner than I found it, and that's included in every price on this page. You should never come home to my mess.
How much is a private chef for a week?
From €600 a week, plus groceries at cost: menu planning, shopping, two cook sessions and six days of meals. For context, a private chef dinner for six in Marbella typically runs around €390 for that one meal. If you want a chef living in and cooking every meal daily, that's a different service, and I'm happy to point you to someone who does it.
Can you cook for allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes. Coeliac, dairy free, plant based, low FODMAP, or a household where three people want three different things. Tell me on the call and I'll tell you honestly whether I can do it well.
Do you shop for the groceries too?
Yes. Shopping is part of the weekly service, and I bill the groceries separately at cost, with receipts. You're never paying me a markup on vegetables.
When can you start?
I'm taking bookings from November 2026, so if you want a slot, tell me now. I can only take a small number of weekly clients, because each one is roughly ten hours of my week.

meal plans
cooking at home, anywhereI don't have time. Will it work for me?
Yes. The recipes are written for a busy week, with batch cooking and a time on each one. The longest is a 45-minute oven bake, and you can walk away while it cooks.
When does the feel-good plan arrive?
Straight away, as a PDF: the plan, the recipe guide and the grocery list.
When does the custom plan arrive?
Within 5 working days of your questionnaire, as a PDF: your plan, your recipe guide and your grocery list.
What if I don't eat certain things?
Every recipe can be changed to suit you. It's a guide, not a rulebook. The custom plan starts from what you eat and what you avoid.
I'm not much of a cook. Can I make these?
Yes. The steps are short and clear, and some recipes need no cooking at all.
Is it vegetarian?
Mostly not: most recipes include meat or fish. You can swap them to suit you, or tell me what you don't eat in the custom plan's questionnaire.
Do the recipes show calories?
No. The plans are about eating whole food that you enjoy, not counting it.
How long can I keep it?
For good. Cook it as many times as you like.

pregnancy coaching
online, bump to babyIs this medical or dietetic advice?
No. I'm a chef trained in holistic nutrition, and coaching is about food and cooking. Your midwife and doctor lead your care; if anything medical comes up, I'll send you back to them.
When does coaching open?
I'm opening a small first group in January 2027. Everyone on the waitlist hears first.
I bought a custom plan. Does it count towards coaching?
Yes. Join coaching within 30 days of buying your plan, and what you paid for it counts towards your coaching.
What happens after I join the waitlist?
You get an email from me straight away. When a place opens, I message you to set up a free 15-minute chat, so we can both check it fits before you pay anything. Then your first month starts.
What if I can't face cooking some days?
Then we plan for those days too: food that's ready in minutes, a few things in the freezer, and no guilt about a takeaway.
Will you tell me what to avoid in pregnancy?
Your midwife gives you the official list. I help you cook around it, so the list doesn't take the joy out of food.
Can I start before I'm pregnant, or after the birth?
Yes. Whether you're trying, expecting or a few months in, we start from where you are.
Can I do it from anywhere?
Yes, it's all online and in English. We pick call times that suit both our time zones.
How much does it cost to have a nutrition coach?
It varies a lot, from a single session to ongoing monthly support. My pregnancy food coaching is €295 a month for the first 10 places, kept for as long as you stay, then €385 a month. That includes two one-to-one calls a month, weekly check-ins by message, and menus and recipes for each stage.
Do I need a nutrition coach during pregnancy?
You don't need one, but many women love having the support. Your midwife and doctor look after your pregnancy; I'm here for the everyday part: what to cook, what to eat when you're tired or nauseous, and how to keep meals simple and nourishing as everything changes.
